According to statement made by Diyarbakır Governorship, an operation has been launched on July 12 at 04.00 a.m. with the purpose of locating the shelters, households, storage areas and seizing the supplies used by organisation members in the area between Kelovan Tepe - Hizin Tepe - Medevir Tepe - Çatak Neighbourhood - Çatakköprü District and Cevzala Tepe.
In accordance with the article 11/C in Law of Provincial Administration no. 5442 entrances and exits to the villages of Silvan; Ormandışı, Babakaya, Çatak, Kayadere, Gürpınar, Arıköy, Taşpınar, Çiğdemli, Demirkuyu, Kazandağı, Bahçe, Eskiocak, Çatakköprü have been banned as of July 12, 2016, 04.00 a.m.
In addition to the above mentioned villages, the entrances and exit to Düzalan, Adak and Üçkardeş villages of Silvan also have been banned and curfew has been declared as of 07.30 a.m. until further notice. (NV/UA)
