Curfew has been declared in 11 villages of Lice district of Diyarbakır.
The statement on the official website of Sub-Governorship of Lice is as follows:
“Curfew has been declared by our Sub-Governorship in accordance with article 32/Ç of the Provincial Administration Law No. 54424 in Abalı, Örtülü, Saydamlı, Yalımlı, Akçabudak, Ulucak, Kılınçlı, Yorulmaz, Baharlar, Bayırlı, Hedik as of 02.05.2016, 11 a.m. until further notice due to the operations to be launched against “Separatist Terror organization” to restore public order and establish public peace”.
Curfews in Lice
Finally on April 23, curfew had been declared in Dibek, Arıklı, Çağdaş, Yolçatı, Tepe, Serince, Beğendik, Esenli, Kabakaya, Uçarlı, Kayacık, Ortaç, Yalaza, Bağlan, Çavundur and Dolunay villages of the district.
The curfew had been lifted on April 24, 5 p.m.
Last year, curfew had been declared in the district between
August 17-19 for two days,
October 9-10 for two days,
October 16-18 for three days,
November 4-5 for two days,
November 20-22 for three days and
December 5-6 for two days.
