The Ministry of Health has announced the number of COVID-19 cases per 100 thousand people by provinces from April 24-30, 2021.
According to the updated map, the highest number of cases was observed in İstanbul, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Çanakkale and Kocaeli.
The figures have shown that the number of cases per 100 thousand people was 532.02 in İstanbul (last week: 854,75), it was 498.70 in Kırklareli (last week: 721.80), 489.89 in Tekirdağ (last week: 772.20), 439.11 in Çanakkale (last week: 839.89) and 437.65 in Kocaeli (last week: 679.88).
The lowest number of COVID-19 cases per 100 thousand people was seen in Şırnak with 46.12 (last week: 55.04). It was followed by Urfa with 70.25 (last week: 104.24), by Mardin with 76.40 (last week: 95.00), by Siirt with 79.14 (last week: 123.84) and by Van with 90.75 (last week: 104.49).
As for the most populated cities of Turkey, their weekly numbers of COVID-19 cases per 100 thousand people were as follows:
İstanbul – 532.02 (last week: 854.75)
Ankara – 361.52 (last week: 567.88)
İzmir – 223.34 (last week: 335.09)
Bursa – 327.35 (last week: 502.41)
Antalya – 200.37 (last week: 324.57)
