Turkey's death toll from the novel coronavirus pandemic has climbed to 4,489 with 28 deaths over the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry figures.
The ministry has registered 1,141 cases in a day, bringing the tally to 162,120. The number of daily new cases have been around 1,000 since mid-May, down from around 4,000 a month ago.
Meanwhile, recoveries have reached 125,963 as 1,594 more people were discharged from Covid-19 treatment.
Minister Fahrettin Koca urged people to maintain social distance and wear masks in a tweet, saying that it importan to comply with both the two rules.

The pandemic has claimed nearly 6 million people and 365,000 lives in 188 countries and regions since originating in China last December. The US, Europe and Russia are currently the world's worst-hit regions. As many as 2.4 million people have recovered so far, according to figures compiled by the US-based Johns Hopkins University.
The pandemic has also forced more than 180 countries to enforce harsh restrictions to stop the spread of the virus, which has led to the unemployment of millions of people as local and regional businesses have shut down over coronavirus fears.
Over the past few weeks, numerous countries have begun to ease measures and reopening their economies.
