Engin Dinç, an intelligence commissioner who hired one of Hrant Dink murder suspects as intelligence officer, has been assigned as Turkey's new Police Intelligence Bureau Chief.
According to an article by Agos newspaper, Dinç hired Erhan Tuncel, one of Hrant Dink murder suspects, as intelligence officer during his post in Trabzon province.
Announced by officials last night, Ömer Altıparmak has been replaced and Engin Dinç became Turkey's new Police Intelligence Bureau Chief.
Dinç served as intelligence commissioner in Afyon province, when Hrant Dink, a prominent Armenian journalist was assassinated in 2007. (EKN/BM)
