Actor John Malkovich has paid a visit to İstanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu amid the coronavirus outbreak.
During the meeting, Malkovich was seen wearing gloves, apparently as a precaution against the virus. Despite that, a waiter served cologne to him.
As a custom in Turkey, people serve cologne to their guests. In addition, cologne has been recently used as a precaution against the virus because of its high alcohol content, albeit on bare hands.
"Even if our guest is John Malkovich, our meeting starts with a Turkish-style cologne serving," İmamoğlu said in a tweet.

Having visited Turkey for several art events and a movie shooting, Malkovich informed İmamoğlu about the events they organized in İstanbul. He also presented a signed DVD work to the mayor.
