Haşim Kılıç, President of the Constitutional Court, announces that they are still not close to reaching a decision about the case for the closing of the Democratic Society Party (DTP).
According to the report by Haşim Kılıç of the newspaper “Taraf,” Kılıç said they were still waiting for some information that the reporters needed to write their reports about the case.
According to Kılıç, the courts waiting for information from close to 150 criminal cases that concern the DTP members. In addition to this, the images in the case file need to examined in detail.
Although Kılıç does not give a definite date, according to the information “Taraf” received from the judiciary circles, the decision may be made after the local elections of March 2009. (TK/TB)
