In the clashes between soldiers of Turkey and members of the Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) in Dargeçit region of Mardin in southeastern Turkey, a soldier has lost his life.
An operation has been launched in the region following the curfew declared by Mardin Governorship yesterday (June 7) in Kısmetli, Kılavuz and Değerli neighbourhoods of Dargeçit district as of 6 a.m.
Corporal major Hikmet Zengin lost his life in the clashed which occurred in the evening hours yesterday. (EKN/DG)
