A parliamentary inquiry has been submitted for the assets of Republican People’s Party (CHP) Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his family to be investigated.
In the previous days, Kılıçdaroğlu disclosed some documents on money transfers of Justice and Development Party (AKP) Chair and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Isle of Man.
“Look into all my assets”, Kılıçdaroğlu had said
In the budget discussion held at the parliament, Kılıçdaroğlu had said, “I am addressing the CHP MPs; submit parliamentary inquiries for my family, children, grand-children, son-in-law”.
“I have no hesitation. I will apologize on this stand if you manage to find anything but I’d also like to call on the gentlemen in Ankara. Do you have the courage that I have?”
“My daughter purchased a flat…”
It came to agenda that Kılıçdaroğlu’s daughter Zeynep Kılıçdaroğlu purchased a flat in Buz Rezidans (Ice Residence), which is owned by CHP Ataşehir Mayor Battal İlgezdi who has been recently discharged by the Ministry of Interior.
Speaking to Cumhuriyet daily newspaper in 2015, Zeynep Kılıçdaroğlu said, “I’ve worked at a bank for years. Now I am practicing law. All records of the house are clear”.
Starting to work at Vakıfbank in 2007, Zeynep Kılıçdaroğlu was working as legal advisor. Kılıçdaroğlu resigned from the bank on January 29, 2014. She is still practicing law in İstanbul. (PT/TK)
