A child worker has lost his life after being hit by a pickup truck in Şirvan district of the southeastern Siirt province, the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
Walking with his cattle in Fatih Neighborhood, Delil Alış, 14, was hit by the pickup used by A.C.
Taken to the Siirt Education and Training Hospital in critical condition, Alış lost his life despite all efforts. The driver has been taken into custody.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old construction worker in the northern Bolu province has been critically injured after falling from 15 meters. According to the Health and Safety Labor Watch (İSİG), Y.D. reportedly fell into a lighting shaft after the plastic piece he stepped on broke.
An investigation has been opened into the incident as the child's life-threatening situation continues. (AÖ/VK)
