Minister of Justice, Bekir Bozdağ has stated that the 117 files as to the 152 MPs whose parliamentary immunities have been lifted have been referred to the prosecutions.
There are 787 summary of proceedings on 152 MPs.
The legislative proposal concerning Constitutional amendment as to lifting parliamentary immunity of the MPs against whom have cases was voted at the Grand National Assembly (TBMM) General Assembly on May 20.
531 MPs voted, the proposal passed with 376 aye votes, 140 against, five abstaining, seven empty, and three invalid.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had approved the amendment on June 7, 15 days after the voting. (EKN/TK)
