Over 20 people have lost their lives in the bomb attack in Atme tent city on the Turkish border of Syria where also Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces are deployed.
According to the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA), the initial findings show that over 20 people have lost their lives, there are tens of others injured and concerns that the number of deaths could increase.
Most of the casualties are reportedly members of the FSA. AA has also reported that the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) has claimed responsibility for the attack on social media.
Atme Camp is located 1 km away from the Turkish border and opposite to the Reyhanlı district on the other side of the border. Refugees who fled the war in Syria are living in the camp which is also a town in İdlib province. The camp accommodates approximately 80,000 people. (NV/DG)
