Addressing press inquiries after last night night’s league game against Gaziantepspor with 2-0 victory, Beşiktaş Soccer Team Coach Slaven Bilic said he created a socialist team.
He continued that he tried to implement a team mentality on his players.
“We don’t have rich or poor in this team. There are no classes here. We are trying to remove all classes and give the power to the people. In that sense, I can say that I created a socialist team,” he said.
In August, Bilic told Beşiktaş Magazine that people could live with dignity and happiness as long as they could share what they had.
“I am socialist but I am socialist in the real sense of the word. I know that I am not going to save the world by myself. However, if there is a struggle against injustice, I always prefer to be on the very lines. This is the way I view the world.” (EKN/BM)
