An assault has been launched on the exhibition, which was held simultaneously with 15th İstanbul Bienal, organized in Abdülmecid Efendi Mansion in Üsküdar, İstanbul.
T-24 reported that a group of four-five people shouting “Is this secularism?”, “This country has become like this because of you”, stormed the mansion, and attempted to damage the artifacts on the first floor.
Prevented by security staff, the assailants were taken out of the mansion as a result of an effort of 15 minutes. The assault was protested with clapping by the visitors.
The security staff said that another assault attempt occurred in the morning hours and they delivered them to the police.
The pro-government media had targeted the exhibition. (HK/TK)
