Applications to the exhibition “Who would have thought” (nerdeen/nereye) to be held within the scope of the 24th İstanbul LGBTI Pride Week has started.
The exhibitions being held within the scope of the Pride Week since 2009, is being actualized with clarion call for the last three years with the name of “Who would have thought”.
The exhibition earlier held in alternative art venues of İstanbul will take place place at home of LGBTI activist Boysan Yakar who lost his life last summer.
The exhibition’s selection of this year will be determined by Gözde İlkin, İlhan Sayın, Şafak Şule Kemancı and Sena Başöz in the advisory committee.
The artists willing to apply can make their applications via [email protected] until June 10, 2016.
24th Pride Week
24th İstanbul LGBTI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex) Pride Week will take place on June 20-26, 2016 this year. It will end with the 14th Pride March to be held at 5 p.m. on June 26, Sunday.
Within the scope of the Pride Week, 12th Hormonal Tomato and Transphobia Prizes will be granted to the winners. (ÇT/TK)
