Anti-Terror Investigation into CHP Lüleburgaz District President

An investigation has been launched into Republican People’s Party (CHP) Lüleburgaz District President Özgür Kaya due to the brochures and magazines prepared by the party.

Interviewing to bianet, Kaya said he went to Lüleburgaz Security Directorate to testify today (February 22). Stating that he was asked whether he published brochures and magazines, the vehicle that brings the brochures and magazines belonged to him, Kaya told he will go to prosecutor’s office tomorrow to testify.

“We’ve compiled the reports covered in the media”

Stressing that the investigation was launched within the scope of Anti-Terror Law, Kaya briefly said:

“On the front and back of the brochures, there are statements made by the Justice and Development Party (AKP) officials about the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) and Gülen Community.

“We didn’t make up these statements, we’ve compiled the ones reported in the national media.

“In fact, it should be me to be the complainant.

“As far as I’m concerned, a citizen in Rize [province] saw the brochure and magazine and file a complaint.

“I will understand clearly what I’m accused of tomorrow in the prosecution questioning”. (EKN/TK)
