A soldier from Turkey has been killed and nine others have been injured in an operation launched within the scope of Operation Euphrates Shield into Syria’s Al-Bab region.
The wounded soldiers were taken into Kilis State Hospital by ambulances.
It was announced that the soldier killed in the clash against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was sergeant major Ayhan Güzel (26).
Starting to serve as sergeant major one year ago, Güzel had one child.
So far, 39 soldiers have lost their lives during the operation, which is on its 128th day. (EKN/TK)
