According to the stats of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), consumer prices increased by 1.49% on monthly basis in November, and the annual inflation rate hiked by 12.98 annually, marking all time high since January 2004. The previous rate was 11.82%
By the main expense groups, food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 2.11; transportation by 2.01%; various goods and services by 1.84% and housing by 1.25%.
The highest increase is in transportation
By the main expense groups, there is no group seeing a decrease in November, 2017. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco groups were the ones with the smallest hike with 0.01%.
The highest increase occurred in transportation with an increase of 18.56%.
