Van Governorship has banned all protests and demonstrations in the province until the beginning of 2017. The Governorship has declared the reason for the ban as “peace and security”.

Van Governorship has announced that all protests and demonstrations to be staged in the province were banned as of December 1, 2016 for one month.

The Governorship on its official website has announced the ban necessary in order to "restore peace and security, the physical integrity as well as the public security. (EA/DG)
