Ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Spokesperson Ömer Çelik and AKP Vice Chair and İzmir MP Hamza Dağ have made statements on social media about the armed attack carried out against the İzmir Provincial Organization office of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) earlier today (June 17) and the killing of HDP worker Deniz Poyraz in the attack.
AKP Vice Chair and İzmir MP Dağ has tweeted, "I condemn the attack and the murder that happened at the HDP İzmir Provincial building. We have been against all types of attacks and attempts oriented towards disturbing the peace and security of Turkey, we will keep on doing so."

Erdoğan didn't mention the attack
Attending the "South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit" in Mediterranean province of Antalya, President and AKP Chair Recep Tayyip Erdoğan did not speak about the attack.
In his Twitter account, AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik has made the following statements:
"We condemn the attack and murder that happened at the HDP Provincial building in İzmir. Provocations trying to disturb Turkey's peace and security will never be allowed for. Our security forces and judiciary will bring the incident to light in all its dimensions.
"As it has been the case till now, Turkey's struggle against terrorism and provocations that try to disturb social peace will continue with determination. The disturbance of public order will never be allowed."
