General Staff in its statement made today declared that it hit Qandil and its surrounding area.
Here is General Staff's statement:
"Shelters, underground shelters, and weapon pits detected to be used by terrorists in Hakkari and Zap, Metina, Avaşin-Basyan, Hakurk, Gara and Qandil in Northern Iraq have been destroyed by aerial operation."
Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) hit Qandil previously on July 25.

Following KCK Statement
It was asserted that Justice and Development Party (AKP) government would escalate the war in the written statement by Group of Communities in Kurdistan (KCK) Executive Commission Co-Chairship:
"AKP will both try to establish its authoritarian regime and to escalate the war that it carries on against Kurdish Liberation Movement* by means of the government which it first extorted and now enacted".
In the statement, decision of inaction was reminded and said "Kurdish Liberation Movement will again respond accordingly as it did in the past to the attacks to be launched against guerrilla forces and our people." (NV/TK)
