Three people have been detained as part of an investigation launched into the forest fire that started in Adana province on August 23.
As reported by the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA), three people have been detained in operations to their houses. Their related procedures are reportedly still ongoing at the gendarmerie command.

Due to a forest fire that broke out in the district of Kozan in Adana on August 23, over 900 households in six villages were evacuated. While 200-hectare forestland was razed in the fire, several houses also burned down.
The fire could be taken under control yesterday morning (August 25). Speaking about the issue, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli said, "We think the fire may have been started intentionally." (TP/SD)
