The Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) has blocked access to the website of JinNews, a women-centered news agency.
Referring to the block, the BTK has said, "The protection measure has been taken for this website (jinnews12.xyz) according to decision nr. 2020/4213 D.Oş dated 4/12/2020 of 'TC. Diyarbakır 3. Sulh Ceza Hakimliği' [Republic of Turkey Diyarbakır 3rd Penal Judgeship of Peace] has been implemented by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority."
While another access block was imposed on "jinnews8.xyz" on October 22, two other access blocks were imposed on "jinnews10.xyz" and "jinnews11.xyz" on October 29 and November 21, respectively.
JinNews is currently publishing its news on its new address "http://www.jinnews15.xyz/".

The JİNHA, which had defined itself as the "first women's news agency in Turkey," was shut down on October 29, 2016, upon Statutory Decree no. 675.
