Academic at Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine and former chancellor of the University Şükrü Boylu, who had been suspended from his position upon signing the peace declaration of the academics “We will not be a party to this crime”, nine months ago, has now been suspended again over investigation launched into him over “being a member of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization / Parallel State Organization (FETÖ/PYD)” for an additional two months.
Boylu, talking to bianet has interpreted the given reason of the investigation as “an approach which is in no way related to the truth”.
Boylu will challenge the 2-month suspension decision. (DG)
