Forced to get in a car in İstanbul on January 20, the fate and whereabouts of Gökhan Güneş were unknown for five days. Güneş has returned home.

As reported by Etkin News Agency (ETHA), Güneş was left in Başakşehir district in İstanbul at around 6 a.m. today (January 26). The people who abducted him released Gökhan Güneş blindfolded. Afterwards, he returned to his family's house by his own means.
The return of Güneş has been announced on the Twitter account "Where is Gökhan Güneş". With a picture of Güneş taken with his family, it is said:
"Abducted five days ago by the state, Gökhan is now at his family's house. Thanks to the struggle of Gökhan's family, friends and comrades for five days, Gökhan has been taken back from the dirty hands of the state. We will not let you make even a single more person disappear."

Statement by the EHB
In a tweet by the Law Bureau of the Oppressed (EHB), it is also said,
"Our client Gökhan Güneş has just come to his family's house in İkitelli. We will make the detailed statement later in the day after meeting with our client. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who contributed to the efforts to find Gökhan."
