Two of 112 generals and admirals who have been taken into custody have been released so far. The rest are in testimony process.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) in May, there are 325 generals and admirals in military department, 32 in Gendarmerie General Commandership and one in Coast Guard Commandership in the TSK.
In total, there are 358 generals and admirals in TSK.
With the arrests of 96 generals and admirals, 27 percent of admirals and generals in the TSK are now under arrest. (BK/UA)
