In the referendum on the Constitutional Amendment Package, "No" votes are leading in nine out of 10 provinces to whose municipalities which were originally governed by Democratic Regions Party (DBP) a trustee was appointed.
The results originate from the non-official referendum results announced by the state-run Anadolu Agency.
In the local elections in 2014, the DBP was the leading party in 11 provinces and in 95 districts.
With statutory decrees issued under the State of Emergency, the trustees were appointed to 85 municipalities in total including the municipalities of 10 provinces, 64 districts and 11 towns.
Among the provinces to whose municipalities a trustee has been appointed, "No" votes are leading in Diyarbakır, Van, Mardin, Hakkari, Şırnak, Batman, Siirt, Ağrı, Dersim and "Yes" votes in Bitlis.
