Diyarbakır Health Platform has shared information about the situation of health workers in Diyarbakır amid novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
According to a table shared on the social media account of the platform, as of September 18, 722 health workers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the province. The table has shown that nurses/ midwives and physicians/ dentists have ranked first in the table with 441 people in total.
The details about the infected personnel are as follows:
186 physicians/ dentists, 1 dentist's clinic assistant, 255 nurses/ midwives, 30 paramedics/ emergency medical technicians, 80 personnel, 37 technicians, 13 automation personnel, 14 security guards, 17 clerks, 9 laboratory technicians, 4 biologists, 4 engineers, 2 directors, 8 drivers, 1 cook, 40 secretaries, 1 rapporteur, 1 carrier, 2 social service specialists, 4 psychologists, 1 child development specialist, 1 pharmacist, 1 physiotherapist and 1 worker.
The deceased health personnel are as follows:
Cuma Kurt (environmental health technician), Murat Kaymak (technic personnel), Halil Yücel Kutun (physician), Rıdvan Dolan (pharmacy technician), Abdulhaluk Gündüz (dining hall personnel), Murat Yumruk (personnel), Mehmet Kan (family physician) and Abdülhalik Çiçek (clerk) (RT/SD)
