The sixth group of News Watch has arrived in Diyarbakır with the slogan “We are tracking the truth and stand by our colleagues”.
News Watch launched to support journalists under pressure and attack in clash zones continues with a new team.
Independent journalists Ali Akel, Eyüp Tatlıpınar, Reyan Tuvi as well as İslam Özkan from On4 TV, Mürüvet Küçük from Alınteri, Semiha Şahin from ETHA and Ümit Kıvanç from Radikal news website are on the sixth team.
In the first month of the watch 38 journalists from 13 corporations have attended News Watch to show solidarity with their colleagues in regions under curfew.
