Within the scope of investigation that is being carried out by Public Prosecutor of İstanbul, 62 Kuleli Military High School cadets who allegedly raided Çengelköy Police Station to take over in July 15 coup attempt have been arrested.
62 cadets were brought to the Courthouse of İstanbul in Çağlayan after the procedures in police station yesterday (July 20).
The cadets brought to Criminal Judicatory of Peace on Duty have been sent to the prison for the crimes of “attempting to annihilate the Republic of Turkey Government or preventing them from performing their duty partially or completely”. (YY/UA)
