Five journalists were taken into custody in house raid carried out in the morning hours today (October 20) in Turkey's capital city of Ankara.
The journalists have reportedly been told during the raid that someone has reported them.-
Jin News Editor Sibel Yükler, Jin News reporters Duygu Erol and Habibe Eren as well as Mezopotamya Agency reporters Diren Yurtsever and Selman Güzelyüz have reportedly been taken into custody.
The houses of the journalist have also been searched by the police.
The journalists will be taken to Ankara Anti-Terror Department after their health examinations are completed.
