According to the preliminary autopsy report of 19-year-old Dilan Kortak who was killed during the police raid yesterday evening in Sancaktepe district of İstanbul, five bullets have hit her body.
Attorney Kadir Tunç who attended the autopsy is of the opinion that Kortak has been shot by a machine gun and that the incident could have been an extrajudicial killing.
According to the information attorney Tunç has given to bianet, Kortak has been alone in her apartment during the operation.
Tunç, noting that there has been no eyewitnesses for this reason stated: “According to my interviews with the inhabitants, they have confirmed that no velitation noise was heard during the operation”.

The body of Dilan Kortak from Mardin is going to be sent to her family in Izmir after the autopsy is completed at İstanbul Forensic Medicine Institution.
İstanbul office of Emancipatory Lawyers Organization (ÖHD) has also noted in its statement about the incident that security authorities had come up with the explanation that fire had been opened against police and an armed fire had occurred, yet in reality there had been no velitation.
ÖHD declared that the incident was an extrajudicial killing, they have been working on solving the case and will follow the judicial process. (AS/DG)
