Four soldiers have lost their lives due to the detonation of improvised explosive devices in Şenoba Municipality of Uludere district in Turkey's southeastern province of Şırnak as well as in Kağızman district of Kars province in eastern Turkey.
2 soldiers killed in Şırnak
Improvised explosive devices reportedly planted on the road by members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) earlier were detonated during a field search by security forces in the rural area of Şenoba Municipality in Uludere district.
Two soldiers injured in the explosion were brought to Şırnak State Hospital located in the 23th Gendarmerie Border Division Command but they could not be saved.
A wide-range operation has been launched in the region.
Also on April 21, two soldiers had lost their lives in the early morning and one other soldier in the evening hours in Uludere, Şırnak.

According to the initial findings, two major sergeants have lost their lives and one soldier was injured as improvised explosive devices planted earlier detonated during a field search by security forces in Kağızman district of Kars province.
