Four people have been detained in Turkey’s southeastern province of Urfa regarding bomb attack that claimed 37 lives in downtown Kızılay of Turkey’s capital city of Ankara.
Operation has been initiated in Urfa to seize some other three in Urfa.
According to report of state-run Anadolu Agency, Urfa Security Directorate Anti-Terror Branch Directorate units have reached the information that the vehicle was purchased from an auto gallery in Urfa. It has been fixed that the vehicle was sold to the gallery on Cumhuriyet street in Viranşehir district by a couple whose names haven’t been announced.
The man and woman have been released following their testimony procedures.
They have been taken to Ankara
The gallery workers M.A.D., N.B., İ.D. and A.D. detained in the operation have been taken to Ankara after the procedures at Urfa Security Directorate have been completed.
After the allegation that one of the attackers was a woman named S.Ç.D., her family was taken into custody in Tekirdağ. They have been released after their testimonies were taken.
S.Ç.D.’s father in his statement to journalist said the following: “I’ve never met with my daughter since 2013. She is my only child going to university. Police units came, we went to hospital and they performed DNA test”. (AS/TK)
