Three soldiers have lost their lives, one other has been injured in a clash that erupted following an attack launched by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) on base area in Turkey’s southeastern Şırnak.
Doğan News Agency reported that an attack was launched with long-barreled weapons and rocket launched on Kuyute base region, which was recently established in Bestler-Dereler region in Şırnak. In the clash that erupted upon soldiers’ retaliation, three soldiers lost their lives, one soldier was injured and the air supported operation continues, the agency reported.
According to Fırat News Agency, the soldiers have been taken to Şırnak State Hospital. (BK/TK)
