Three soldiers have lost their lives, two others have been wounded during an operation launched into the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in 104 rural neighborhoods in Turkey’s southeastern Diyarbakır province.
State-run Anadolu Agency reported that Operation Şehit Jandarma Yüzbaşı Fuat Oğuzcan Müşterek Birlik launched with the participation of 10,073 security personnel continues.
A clash erupted between the security forces and the PKK members during the operation. Five soldiers were injured during the clash.
Taken to Diyarbakır Selahaddin Eyyübi State Hospital, three soldiers lost their lives.
The operation continues in the regions. (NV/TK)
