A court arrested 3 individuals out of 26 soccer fans who have been rounded up on September 27 within an operation targeting soccer fans across Turkey.
According to various news website sources, 3 individuals including Genç Fenerbahçeliler leader Sefa Kalya have been arrested for “founding and leading a crime organization”, “planned assault” and “planned attempted murder”.
The remaining 23 individuals have been released within judiciary control measures. The court also issued an international travel ban for 18 convicts.
On Friday (September 27), police rounded up 69 soccer fans from Galatasaray, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe teams, while transferring 23 for arrest.(EKN/BM)
