Ranking fourth with 46 medals in 2017 Deaflympics, Turkey holds 128 gold medals in total so far. 29 women athletes from Turkey won medals this year.
In the games of 23rd Summer Deaflympics, the olympics for athletes with impaired hearing founded by The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf played between July 18 - 30 in Samsun province, Turkey has ranked fourth winning 46 medals in total including 17 gold, 7 silver and 22 bronze medals.
Russia has ranked first in the Deaflympics with 199 medals including 856 gold medals, followed by Ukraine with 99 medals 22 of which are gold medals and South Korea with 52 medals 18 of which are gold medals.
29 women athletes won medals
In Turkey, nine women won medals in individual games and 20 women in team-games.
