22 privates who were on the Bosphorus Bridge during July 15 coup attempt and released on July 19, have been arrested again upon prosecution’s objection.
22 privates including cadets from Air Force Academy and Kuleli Military High School were released on July 19.

İstanbul 1st Criminal Judicatory of Peace had ordered release of the privates by imposing ban on leaving the country considering scope of the file, present state of evidence, the suspects’ duties and positions within the chain of command.
The soldiers in their testimony had said that they hid in the tanks during the conflict erupted between police and citizens for 4-5 hours. (YY/TK)
