The Laz Institute and İstanbul Caucasus Culture Association (İKKD) have published the "2021 Endangered Languages Calendar" as part of the "Endangered Languages Project."
While the calendar has been prepared in Abkhazian, Circassian, Gagauz, Georgian, Judeo-Spanish, Hemshin/Hamshen, Laz, Pomak, Romeika, Romani, Syriac, Zaza, it can also be accessed online and downloaded.
In addition to the endangered languages calendar, a video with new year's messages in these languages has also been prepared.
Some messages from the video are as follows:
Hamshen: Aşxaris emmenokets nordain erant elli, soy elli. Dzil u dzağig ellek xendak u dzidzağek. (Happy new year to everyone in the world. May you be a flower sprout, be happy and laugh.)
Pomak: Viv novasa godina siçkutu da stane hubave. Da vidime hubavi dane izdravii dane. (May everything be alright in the new year. Let us see beautiful and healthy days.)
Judeo-Spanish: Vos auguramos una anyada mueva buena ı klara kon salud buena ı muncha felisidad. (We wish you a healthy and very happy new year.)
Syriac: Rişıd şato brikhto. I şato da 2021 mamtyo şayno u şlomo al i arho kula. (Happy new year; I wish that 2021 will bring peace and well-being to the world.)
