A different version of the video "First Kiss" will be recorded also in Turkey.
The video “ First Kiss” published on March by director and scriptwriter Tatis Pilieva had become a viral phenomenon. Up to now 89 million of people watched the video.
In “First Kiss” we watch 20 range from old and young to homosexual and heterosexual kissers who kiss each other without knowing each other. We see shy smiles on people faces, people who don’t know what to do and laugh because of getting nervous.
Pilieva tells that she tries to catch the first close moment of people who don’t know each other through this video.
Now, this project will be realized in Turkey, but not by Pilieva.
Deadline for application for those intending to take place in the project planned to be recorded during one day is 16th of August. It is enough to send an e-mail to [email protected]
The story of First Kiss
After the publishing of Pilieva’s video, First Kiss Parody recorded in Egypt, Gay Kiss recorded in New Zealand and lots of similar videos had appeared.
Pilieva tells the story of “First Kiss” in Huffington Post:
“I will never forget the true vulnerability among the kissers on set. They were so kind to one another. Andre and his team rolled five cameras nearly all the time and "action" was never called to avoid intruding. Those behind the camera were almost as giddy as those before it. In some instances I may have even closed my eyes. By the day's end, we couldn't have been happier. We had witnessed a beautiful side of people. If no one had ever seen this small film, we would still be proud.
“Over the last few days, people have asked what made "First Kiss" a viral phenomenon? While one can't be sure, it was probably the human vulnerability that touched people -- watching the possibility of love play out in front of their eyes. We sometimes argue that technology isolates us as humans, but if nothing else, "First Kiss" suggests perhaps that we are still united by our desire for love and connection.” (ÇT/MUY/BM)
