Three Turkish army soldiers have been killed by an improvised explosive device during Operation Euphrates Shield. The operatıon is jointly run by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the Syrian city of al-Bab.
Three soldiers were also wounded in the attack.

Operation Euphrates Shield, launched on August 24, 2016, started to march towards al-Bab at the beginning of December. The operation’s base is currently 35 kilometers from Turkish border.

47 people, mostly civilians, killed
The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) carried out a bombing in Soran village, located in northern al-Bab, at around 10 a.m. today (February 24).
According to a report by Sputnik News, 47 people died and more than 60 others were injured in a car bomb attack launched in an area where both civilians and FSA forces were present.
Extensive security measures were taken as the wounded were transferred to hospitals in Antep and Kilis via ambulance. (EKN/TK)
