Two more students from Boğaziçi University were detained on Saturday (March 31). The number of detained students has increased to 15 with these detentions.
Detention at campus gate
A student from philosophy department was detained at around 3:30 p.m. during a search carried out by undercover police officers at North Campus, Boğaziçi University. It was stated that the detained student appeared in one frame the footage of incidents that sparked during giving out Turkish delight for Afrin operation.
Two students one of whom is from department of psychology and the other from department of computer engineering were stopped by undercover police as they were leaving North Campus at around 7-7:30 p.m. Two students were taken to a civilian vehicle parked in the parking lot and they were run criminal record check.
While the engineering student was released in the wake of record check, the other student was taken to Gayrettepe Security Directorate.
