The General Staff has announced that two soldiers wounded in the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) attack in Lice district of Diyarbakır province died at the hospital yesterday (June 26).
The wounded soldiers taken to hospital lost their lives at 9:45 a.m.
Rural area is being bombed
Fırat News Agency (ANF) reported that operation is continuing in the district where the curfew is in effect, and that fire breaks out in the rural area because of the materials dropped by the helicopters.
Hundreds gathering in front of district buildings of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) marched towards Lice.
There were Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır MPs Sibel Yiğitalp, Nursel Aydoğan, DTK, DBP, HDP Assembly members and provincial directors, Peace Mothers and NGOs in the convoy. (AS/TK)
