Two soldiers died today (September 20) in Turkey’s Free Syrian Army-supported Euphrates Shield operation in Jarablus.
The two soldiers were injured in an explosion during the operation run in the region between Jarablus and Al-Rai, and lost their lives in Gaziantep University Şahinbey Research and Practice Hospital, where they had been brought for treatment.
The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) had initiated an offensive on Jarablus on August 24 to get control of the province back from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Syria (ISIS). (NV/DG)
