In Van, an improvised bomb planted on the road by members of the Civil Protection Units (YPS) has exploded in the hands of a police officer trying to dispose it.
Two police officers have lost their lives, three others injured in the explosion.
Bomb disposal experts have been dispatched to the area. An explosion has occurred while the experts were working on disposing the bomb following the procedural examinations being carried out and security measures taken. In the blast, two police officers have lost their lives, three others injured. (NV/DG)
