It has been alleged that a young person named Ö.F.D., who was doing his mandatory military service in the district of İslahiye in Turkey's southeastern province of Antep, has committed suicide.
It has also been stated that Ö.F.D., who was officially registered in the province of Urfa, was suffering from depression.
As reported by the local Şanlıurfa63 news website, Ö.F.D. took the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) on October 7.
While the body of Ö.F.D. was delivered to his relatives for burial after the completion of the procedures at the Şanluırfa Forensic Medicine Institution, an investigation has been launched into the allegations of suicide.

It was also announced that two days before the death of Ö.F.D., another young person named H.A., who was also doing his military service, came back to his hometown Harran in the province of Urfa and committed suicide there while in leave of absence.
It has been reported by Şanlıurfa63 that the body of H.A., who was also suffering from psychological problems, was put to rest in village cemetery. (EKN/SD)
