Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Nobel Peace Prize winner and Yazidi activist Nadia Murad at the 18th Doha Forum in Qatar yesterday (December 16).
Çavuşoğlu and Murad have made two different statements about the content of their meeting on their Twitter accounts.
Nadia Murad stated that Turkey's airstrikes in Sinjar should stop:
"Met w/minister @MevlutCavusoglu to discuss the recent Turkish airstrikes in Sinjar. Turkey & Iraq must work together to find a solution to prevent any further bombings in Sinjar. We want to rebuild what ISIS destroyed & help Yazidis return home"

As for Minister Çavuşoğlu, he said that "PKK/PYD/YPG continues to oppress everyone in Iraq and Syria":
