Attorney Nuriye Alsancak talking to bianet has noted that during their interrogation in the police station, the students were told that they had been taken into custody over a complaint from the aforementioned academic.
Alsancak has added that the students were asked why they had attended the boycott against the academic and whether they had forced others to attend too.
Noting that no such question was addressed in the interrogation by the prosecution, Alsancak has stated “They have asked about every action in the last two years, every meeting and social media postings”. (BK/DG)
