Shot at Aşağıpulluyazı Border Post in Syrian border of Hatay, soldier has lost his life.
Soldier who are serving at Aşağıpulluyazı Border Post under 3rd Border Battalion Commandership attempted to intervene in those who tried to cross into Turkey last night (April 18). A soldier was wounded during the clash. The wounded soldier lost his life in Hatay State Hospital where he was taken to for treatment.
According to state-run Anadolu Agency, identity of the soldier from Diyarbakır is yet to be announced.
An investigation has been launched into the incident. (AS/TK)
